Lynne A. Menaker is committed to providing comprehensive, individualized Speech/Language therapy, and ongoing support for families and caregivers in order to build a strong foundation for learning, and communicating, so that each unique child is able to share their "gifts", and reach their maximum potential.

Lynne A. Menaker, pediatric Speech/Language Pathologist is dually licensed in both the state of Florida, as well as New York. 

She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association, as well as the New York State Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped certification.

She received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Adelphi University, NY, graduating with honors, with a major in Commmuncative Disorders. 

Lynne is PROMPT trained and Hanen certified.

Lynne has had the fortunate opportunity to have worked across a multitude of interdisciplinary settings throughout her 29 year career. She has practiced in hospital settings, clinical settings, educational and therapeutic centers, as well as providing home based intervention for children aged birth through three years.

She has also held the positions of Clinical Instructor and Clinical Supervisor in the Graduate Program of Communication Sciences  and Disorders at NOVA Southeastern University.

These experiences have afforded diverse, and rewarding opportunities to provide services to children who present with a wide range of challenges, and disabilities, as well as opportunities to work collaboratively with families and caregivers and colleagues across disciplines to provide the most comprehensive interventions in order to address the needs of the "Whole Child."

 

Services provided include : Speech and Language Evaluations, development of comprehensive treatment plans, individual therapy, consultations, school consultations, IEP Support, parent/caregiver support and guidance, and parent/caregiver/teacher workshops.

Experiences include working with children birth through 18 years who present with a multitude of communication challenges including: Autism Spectrum Disorders, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, attention challenges , auditory processing disorders, developmental delays , receptive and expressive language disorders , Social Pragmatic Disorders, Oral motor disorders and feeding challenges , Augmentative /Alternative communication needs, voice disorders and fluency disorders. Teletherapy services are also available.

Supporting families, caregivers, and children while embracing the foundations of learning as a basis for nuturing each child's unique spirit.

 

 

We continue to partner with Early Steps, providing family-centered intervention in the natural environment.
